ROOMS & SUITES

For every kind of living…

The large villa of RELAIS DU CHATEAU • CASA ILLICA having about 4.500 sq. ft entirely renovated and redecorated by the owners in 2008 has been tastefully converted into 2 Deluxe Rooms, 1 Junior Suite, 1 Superior single Room and 3 Suites, each of them totally different of the others in shape, colors and decor with large windows opening to picturesque views of the middle age roofs and the breathtakingly lush landscape beyond.

The names and the interior decoration of the ROOMS & SUITES are all inspired by the works of Giacomo Puccini and Pietro Mascagni for which Luigi Illica wrote the lyrics, to evoke the great operas through atmosphere and style.

ROOMS

Modern italian design, furnishings and nineteenth century objects make the atmosphere of the rooms cozy and unique. All the rooms are decorated with a common thread uniting them in an impalpable, superb Japanese obi – the belt of the kimono – with gold embroidery on silk. Walls are decorated with outstanding works of emerging artists, according to the concept of Boutique Art Hotel.

SUITES

On the upper floor of the villa, the BOHEME suite and the BUTTERFLY suite are both bright and spacious two-room suites with a stunning panorama view that lets you feel serene and relaxed in an elegant atmosphere created by a mix of antique and modern with a Japanese touch offered by the silk fabrics used for the raffinated decor. The beauty of the scenic landscapes makes you understand where the poet Luigi Illica got his inspiration for the world famous opera libretti La Bohème and Madama Butterfly which were written there, in his birth home.
